Version 3.4 is absolutely stacked! We're getting a free character from the Fate collab, three top-tier Harmony supports are coming back, and there are five Destruction 5-stars in total—Destruction teams are about to dominate! Plus, the livestream dropped a huge teaser: another limited 5-star will be given out for free later this year, which might just be a second wave of the Fate crossover!

 

HSR 3.4 Banner New Characters

Phase 1 -- Phainon

Duration: 2025.07.02 -- 2025.07.23

Phainon is an upcoming 5-star physical Destruction DPS that specializes in Hypercarry setups. He has a unique ultimate charging mechanic similar to Acheron and Castorice, and he charages based on single target buffs that are apllied to him. This means you'll most likely be playing him with two hypercarry supports, such as Sunday and possibly Cerydra, a newly Harmony unit expected released in HSR 3.5.

Phainon doesn't have any design elements which can be summoning objects, possibly doesn't have summons. But he can transform into a second form in his ultimate.

After Phainon activates his Ultimate, he deploys his "Territory", forcing allies to retreat and enters his Second Form, possibly named Demiurge and gaining extra turns. In this state, he gains a new skill set (three buttons, including an enhanced ability) and can freely choose attack modes to counter enemies. Once the extra turns end, he dispels the Territory, exits Second Form, and unleashes a powerful attack.

 

Fate Collab -- Saber

Duration: 2025.07.11 -- available over a long period of time

Saber is an upcoming playable 5-star Wind Destruction character in HSR 3.4. Starting from 12:00, July 11 (server time), Trailblazers can use Star Rail Special Passes to participate in the collaboration event and obtain the limited 5-star collaboration characters.

Fate Collab -- Archer (Free！)

Archer is an upcoming playable 5-star Quantum Hunt character. After 12:00, July 11 (server time) and until Version 3.6 ends,Trailblazers can log in to the game to claim the limited 5-star collaboration character, Archer for free! Plus, spend 200 Special Passes in total and you'll get Archer's Signature Light Cone for free—what a deal!

For F2P players, this is a huge win. Since collaboration units rarely get reruns (due to licensing issues in most gacha games), missing them could mean losing them forever. Many F2P players don’t have enough Jades to pull for two limited units, so getting one for free ensures they won’t miss out.

 

HSR 3.4 Rerun Chararters

Phase1 -- Sunday

Sunday is Phainon's ideal teammate. As a Imaginary-attribute "Harmony"-path character, he combines energy restoration, action point restoration, and damage boost. He also has the ability to pull action bars and a summoning mechanism, making him a powerful support character. He can provide various stacks for Phainon, helping Phainon to unleash even greater power. 

 

Phase1 -- Tribbie

Tribbie was a pre-sale character before, many players didn't pull for her. Now, the Imaginary team lacks reinforcing characters after Hyacine, so the rerun of Tribbie is to complete the HP-draining Imaginary team setup. She is the ceiling for general-purpose damage increase, fitting all main DPS teams such as the Imaginary-Life team. Her Skill provides high-value attack and crit buffs, and her Ultimate enhances the penetration effect of the whole team. 

 

Phase1 -- Sparkle

The rerun of Sparkle is mainly to support Archer, and for Phainon, it's just an optional choice. She is a support character who can restore Skill Points for our team and increase the upper limit of Skill Points. Additionally, Sparkle can advance the action of a designated target for our side, boost critical hit damage, and increase the overall damage dealt by our team. Archer's actions can deal different amounts of damage by consuming different numbers of Skill Points, and Sparkle's mechanism of increasing Skill Points is a perfect fit for Archer. 

 

Phase 2 -- Firefly

Firefly is a Fire character follow the Destruction Path. Using SAM to  fight, after using her Ultimate, SAM enter the  Complete Combustion state, advances Action by 100% and enhance SPD, Break Efficiency, and Break DMG. She is a powerful Super Break main DPS in HSR. 

The new mechanics: Toughness Lock has a impact on Firefly, but since Firefly is going to rerun with her new skin, the impact on Firefly may not be as significant as imagined.

 

Phase2 -- Jingliu

Version 3.4 drops a big round of buffs for older units, with both Jingliu and Blade getting some love. Jingliu, the Ice Destruction unit, now runs on an HP-scaling kit—her Basic ATK, Skill, Ult, and even E1 all scale with Max HP. She also gets faster energy regen the lower her HP is.

 

Phase2 -- Blade

Blade is back and better than ever in 3.4! As a Wind Destruction unit, he thrives on losing HP to ramp up his damage, while still keeping himself alive with strong self-healing. The higher his Max HP, the harder he hits. In this update, his Hellscape state got a solid buff—he now gets targeted more often (perfect for triggering counters), and his follow-up attacks generate extra energy. Blade mains, it’s time to eat!

Firefly New Skin

Sparkle's new outfit “Spring Missive” puts her in a classic JK school uniform—with her mech getting a slight makeover too! It's available in Version 3.4 for a limited-time price of 1350 Oneiric Shard. The bundle includes the outfit and a matching avatar frame. After the event ends, the price will return to the original 1680 Oneiric Shard.

First Penaconian Holy Grail War

From 12:00, July 11 (server time),the "Fate/stay night" event begins. Trailblazer will be Player to summon Heroic Spirits, use Command Seals, wield Noble Phantasms, and try different classes to win strategic battles!

Origami Bird Clash

This event in 3.4 introduces a new co-op game mode, and it’s not just a one-time thing—it’s set to replace the previous “Seal Slammers” co-op mode and become the new long-term multiplayer content going forward.

 

New Light Cones

The Nameless Gift now features 9 new 4-star Light Cones, all showing the characters as kids—they're super cute! You can get the first one, "The Story's Next Page”, through warps, while the rest are available via the Battle Pass.

 

New Material Charred Bud of Twilight

A new Wind Ascension material, Charred Bud of Twilight, has been added—most likely intended for Cerydra.
